BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonial

  • "I can't stress enough how much Dr. Sean has changed my life. I started coming to him in February of 2014, and at the time I had terrible problems with my digestion, as well as horrible neck pain. Dr. Sean completely fixed my digestion problems to the point where I no longer have to take medication for it anymore. As for my neck, I come once a week for an adjustment and it feels perfect. He is such a kind, genuine person and I would recommend him to anyone. He truly cares about his patients."
