"Step It Up!"
Did you know there are 1576 Steps to climb the 86 stories? Imagine how much stronger you would be if you climbed that many steps in a day! I have a patient who has made this a goal! She wants to climb the equivalent of that every day. Make your workout fun! Visualize climbing the Empire State Building while taking the stairs at work; walk on your lunch break and picture yourself walking on the beach, or ride your bike to work and picture yourself in a race for first place! Having trouble climbing the hill? "Anchor" yourself up it by focusing on a point up the hill and walk/ride to it, then once you achieve it, repeat and repeat without stopping!
